The 28.5 km canoe descent is a complete route, you cross the entire natural reserve of the Ardèche Gorges at your own pace. Two days on the water to enjoy the river and a night in one of the two bivouacs available on the route.

You quickly enter the grandiose setting of the gorges. After the Charlemagne rapids, you pass under the famous Pont d’Arc, a true natural gateway to a spectacular environment. Limestone cliffs, clear waters and wild beaches mark this first section.
Navigation alternates between peaceful passages and accessible rapids, without major technical difficulty but dynamic enough to provide exciting sensations. By taking your time, you enjoy swimming breaks and stops on the natural beaches that punctuate the route.
At the end of the first day, you reach your bivouac area set up within the Ardèche Gorges. The evening unfolds in a preserved setting, far from any road: a privileged moment to share a meal and spend the night in the heart of nature.
The next day, you resume the descent to cover the last kilometers, arriving at Sauze. Spread over two days, this descent requires good physical fitness and is aimed at those who wish to experience a more immersive adventure, combining sport, relaxation and a night in bivouac in the heart of an exceptional natural site.
