The 28.5 km canoe descent is a long and varied route, ideal for those who wish to enjoy a full day of paddling in the Ardèche Gorges, without committing to a multi-day adventure. It combines the 4.5 km Short Track descent and the 24 km descent, offering a very comprehensive view of the river’s emblematic landscapes.

The departure takes place directly from Camping des Tunnels, with a first section that is accessible and fun.
You navigate through the Charlemagne rapids before passing under the majestic Pont d’Arc, a classified emblematic natural site. This first section allows for a progressive warm-up, ideal for tackling the rest of the route.
The descent continues along the 24 km route, in the heart of the Ardèche Gorges, with an alternation of calm zones and accessible rapids. The numerous natural beaches allow you to take swimming or picnic breaks at your own pace throughout the day.
This descent is suitable for people in good physical condition, wishing to experience a full day of canoeing, rich in landscapes and gentle sensations.
The arrival is at Sauze, after approximately 6 to 7 hours of effective paddling, depending on your pace and breaks.
